This good old fashioned holiday home is situated right on the beach between Flinders Bay and the Colour Patch. The house has a queen bedroom with ensuite, second bedroom a double bed and third bedroom 2 single beds. An open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area and a second bathroom with a separate toilet. Walk out onto the north-facing porch to sit and enjoy the view.
In winter the whales play in the bay and can be clearly visible from the shoreline. The beach is only 50m away and it is also a lovely walk to the crystal clear waters of the Blackwood River mouth. Walking is one of the joys of Augusta and the sealed footpath from the house to town, the beach, and the delightful river foreshore is enchanting.
Whales are not the only attraction in Augusta, the local pod of dolphins are seen cruising the river and the beautiful grassed picnic area at The Colour Patch. The comfortable house is light, spacious, and very functional.
