The house has a queen bedroom with ensuite, second bedroom with a double bed and the third bedroom 2 single beds. An open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area with a second bathroom and separate toilet. Walk out onto the north-facing porch to sit and enjoy the view.
In winter the whales play in the bay and can are clearly visible from the shoreline. Jays beach is less than 50m away and it is also a lovely walk to the crystal clear waters of the Blackwood River mouth. Walking is one of the joys of Augusta and the sealed footpath from the house to town, the beach, and the delightful river foreshore is enchanting. A local pod of dolphins are often seen cruising the river by the beautiful grassed picnic area at The Colour Patch.
